There are many species and varieties of codfish, the highest quality one being the gadus morhua or Atlantic cod. We offer you day boat Atlantic codfish from the cold Icelandic waters, in five different presentations: jumbo loin, Bombon portions, shredded codfish, Cod tipe, and kokotxas.
- The Jumbo Loin Codfish loin is a big and thick cut of around 3 lbs. each..
- Bombon is cut in 6 – 8 oz thick portions.
- The shredded codfish and Cod Tripe are ideal for different dish preparation such as brandade, croquettes or stuffings.
- Last but not least, the amazing and tasty day boat cod kokotxas (called also cheeks or throats), a must for making traditional basque recipes such as kokotxas al Pil-Pil.
